1149 Catering and Events is a private event facility which hosts corporate and social functions. On Sundays, we offer a public, Sunday Brunch between the hours of 10:00 a.m. Eleven Forty Nine Restaurant has reopened its doors on Fall River Avenue in Seekonk as the new 1149 Bar and Grill. In this economy, we want to be the go to place for our East Bay friends to enjoy a reasonably priced quick lunch, casual dinner, and family brunch.

  • Rasoi Restaurant, 727 East avenue, in Pawtucket, website offers regional brunch on Sundays 11:30-3, at

    $14.95, with a buffet emphasizing the “five elements”of cooking, with seafood, lamb chicken, vegetables, and delectable desserts, all from different regions in India. They also offer a vegan lunch brunch from 11:30-3 on Saturdays.

  • Good Times Pub, 1666 Diamond Hill Road, in Cumberland, offers a great value breakfast buffet, every Sunday from 9-Noon, adults $9.99, and children $5.99, with omelets cooked to order, fruit, meats, fresh baked goods, and homemade hash. A comfortable neighborhood feel, and the great price makes Good Times one to check out!
  • Celestial Cafe, 562 South County Trail in Exeter offers a Mother’s Day Brunch that boasts locally sourced menu items that will have you coming back for more 9:00am–2:00pm with seating on the half hour “All You Can Eat Family Style”$28 per person,$9 per child, under 4 years eat free.
  • The West Valley Inn, 4 Blossom St West Warwick,is offering a Mother’s Day brunch from 10-3, adults $26.99, and children $12, and their buffet will feature a huge variety of delights, from Steamship Round, to fresh omelets, endless bacon, and, of course, their famous chicken soup, salads, and meatballs. The West Valley Inn has been family owned and operated for more than thirty years. Reservations a must, at their website or 401-822-2834.
  • George’s of Galilee, will be offering a Mother’s Day brunch from 10-2, adults $29, children, $9.99. Reservations required at their website or 783-2306. With the bar’s mixologists offering specialties like Strawberry Champagne and Passionfruit Mimosas, and the kitchen featuring Prime Rib and Apricot Bourbon Glazed Smoked Ham, alongside myriad other choices, Mom is sure to enjoy this meal, and, if the weather is fine, a walk on the beach after brunch will feel great.
  • Atlantic Beach Club, 55 Purgatory Road, Middletown, offers a Sunday brunch from 10:30-2, featuring beautiful seaside atmosphere, omelets to order, baked ham, and chef’s specialties. Open in a variety of forms since the ‘20s, and maintained in its present form by Peter and Harry Kyriakedes since ’96, the Atlantic Beach Club brunch is one to savor.
  • T’s Restaurants, at 1059 Park Avenue, Cranston, 5600 Post Road, East Greenwich, and 91 Point Judith Road, Narragansett, offers brunch every Sunday from 9-3. T’s has been a Rhode Island success story because they emphasize consistency of quality in both their food and service. Offering a wide array of classic and imaginative breakfast dishes, T’s a;so has heart healthy choices throughout their menu.
  • Faial, 970 Douglas Pike, Smithfield,231-1100, and 566 Putnam Pike, Greenville, 439-0360, offers a huge variety of great meals, with Portuguese cuisine and seafood as their specialties. They are open from 12-8 on Sundays, and their menu, featuring seafood towers, Pork and Clams Alentjana, Portuguese Soup, and dozens of other dishes, is sure to please.   • Eleven Forty Nine, at 1149 Division Street, East Greenwich, 884-1149, offers a beloved brunch each Sunday from 10-2, at $26.95 adult, $13.25 child, featuring a carving station with teriyaki glazed prime rib and herb crusted pork roast, luncheon specialties like chicken marsala, eggs benedict, and a panoply of baked goods, breakfast foods, and desserts. Reservations recommended.

  • The Clarke Cooke House, 1 Bannister’s Wharf, Newport, offers a Sunday brunch with live piano music and classic bistro food. A la carte, at $15, and prix-fixe at $22, 11:30-3, proper dress and reservations required.
  • Loie Fuller’s, 1455 Westminster Street, Providence, 273-4375. If an elegant brunch in a uniquely beautiful and intimate space is what Mom requires, Loie’s might fit the bill. Offering brunch Sunday from 10-2, with an extensive wine list, exquisite service, and French classics and creative specialties from the chef.
  • The Capital Grille, 1 Union Station in Providence is offering a mouthwatering 3 course meal that will have you salivating. From Lobster Frittata to butter poached lobster tail…this menu will have mom feeling like royalty. Adults are $49.95 and kids are $15.00. Be sure to call ahead and book a reservation.
  • Waterman Grille, 4 Richmond Square in Providence will be offering a delectable menu for $39.95 Adults and 2-12 $17.95. Kids under 2 are free. Enjoy the water views while you dine.   • Mt. Hope Farm, 250 Metacom Ave in Bristol is offering a and all you can eat farm fresh breakfast in a beautiful child friendly atmosphere. Seating is limited so make you reservations early. Adults are $39.95 and kids are $18.95. There will be an omelette station, a potato pancake station, a salad and fruit station, a French Toast station, and a dessert table.
  • Ocean House in Watch Hill, is offering a Child and Mother’s Day Tea on May 9th from 3-5 in the Club Room. There will be a guest appearance from Mary Poppins. On Sunday, you can enjoy a brunch that features crepe and frittata stations. Adults are $78.00 and kids are $35.00. Enjoy the views at this iconic venue.
  • Wright’s Farm, a Northern Rhody classic, at 84 Inman Rd, Harrisville, 769-2856, is a wonderful place for small or large family dinners. Their huge dining room is always filled with happy campers on Mother’s Day, most of them eating the Family Style Baked Chicken, with fresh-baked rolls, salad topped with Wright’s Farm house dressing, pasta with Wright’s Farm trademark marinara sauce and signature home style French fries, at $12.75 adults, $7.25 children. They also offer a 12 ounce sirloin, at $22. The meal is served family style, with platters for the whole table. Coffee and delicious desserts round out the experience.
